Dr. Jacquelin Baker uses her background as an educator and her expertise in race and identity theory, systems thinking, and culturally responsive leadership and pedagogy to coach and develop teachers, school leaders, and professionals in various fields across the city.
Our work is grounded in equity and developing anti-racist and anti-bias leaders, whether those leaders are running a major company or entering first grade. We help individuals and organizations to learn more about themselves than they thought possible, to undertand how and why they make decisions, and to identify and actualize goals that push them to invent, reimagine, and inspire.
Equity necessitates partnerships. Our process is collaborative, and our team works with you to identify your needs and design a custom plan for and with you. We offer curriculum services, 1:1 coaching and group coaching, and professional development, ranging from one session to multi-year scopes and sequences.

Chanelle’s education journey led her to move from New York, where she completed a B.A. in Theatre at Fordham University to the South Side of Chicago. While completing her M.S. in Education at Dominican University, Chanelle was able to teach preschool in the same neighborhood that she attended preschool. Her work in civic engagement manifested when she was able to empower and provide resources for the parents of her students as the Manager of Government and Community Affairs at Noble Network of Charter Schools, the largest high school charter school network in the city of Chicago.
